Not my van, but was down in Kinsale with pyrogenx and bought a TDI Caravelle back. Comes with 2 months worth of hackney tax and by then, we'll have it ready for camper tax.

Replaced the starter ... now just to finish the 2nd bench and stick the fridge back in, so I'm ready for the weekend.

Did you try Traynors in the north, a guy down in New Ross here got a caravelle door for £100 delivered complete with glass and all. Might be worth a try

Would you not just buy glass from Vw an get it fitted, that's what I did.

I need a side door anyhow, as mines dented and rotten, so i said i'd try find one with glass, and get Brian to fit glass in the opposite side panel.

If i cant find one with glass, i'll just get brian to fit two windows.

Sliding door fell out of it's hinges this weekend at Life Festival. And it ain't an easy thing to fix properly with half the tools missing and not being sober. So, we just stuck it into place and locked it for the remainder of the weekend.

Fixed that today. There was a little rubber buffer in the bottom rail, that was missing, which caused it. Funny thing is, I found that on the ground in the workshop last week. Just didn't know, where it belongs. Now I know.

Inverter/Charger started tripping the fuses in the workshop. I thought it was the cables at first, but it had been doing odd things yesterday, too.

Replaced that with a spare, I had pottering around. Not happy, as the spare is a good bit more noisy
