Thread: Helga the Chevy

I've fitted the fibreglass sun visor now and am blending in the flares and filling and sanding the body. After that I'll put the doors back on and give it a coat of high build primer.

I'm happy with the way it looks, the sunvisor makes a big difference I think. I mounted it on brackets I made from two old coat hooks .

Thanks, I only got to do one corner of Mondello on the way to the infield section for their retrostock festival a few years back.

Started laying out the stripe design, I was gonna have a flame wrapping around the moon window but it just didn't look right.

    Here's the planned paint scheme.

I installed a set of driving lights in the chin spoiler too and strengthened all of the fibreglass bit's. The chin spoiler is now bonded to an aluminium brace that is bracketed off the chassis.
