    Chevrolet Helga the Chevy

I have a real long build thread done on Vannin.com here http://www.vannin.com/threads/ubbthr...opics/502917/1
and the engine replacement saga is here..... http://www.vannin.com/threads/ubbthr.../368489/1.html

So I'll just stick a load of photos up and ye can ask any questions ye want.
The basic timeline is bought it, drove it around a lot on surf and skate trips and parking up in town for the weekend on the piss. Cracked a head on way out wicklow while moving house. Replaced the heads. Gained confidence from changing the heads and doing work on my other classic a 72 Scimitar and decided to rebuild engine. Saw a lovely built camaro engine on ebay and bought it to save me time on rebuilding my own one.See engine rebuild saga ........... http://www.vannin.com/threads/ubbthr.../368489/1.html

Got her running well finally and started sorting the bodywork and doing other mods.
    Nearly ready for paint now.

Thanks for taking the time to post up the build pictures. I'm looking forward to see the beast back on the road in new livery and fresh paintjob.

Probably the question you get asked the most, but; Is the engine loud inside the cab? I know it has an insulated cover over it but thats a V8 so those can't be tamed haha,

Yeah it is loud, I've driven it short distances with the engine cover off and that is too loud but you'd expect that. With the cover on it's acceptable.

Current progress cut the holes for the portholes today and was working on prepping the roof for paint.
