I picked up a pool ball knob + bendy extension

Got the rear hatch panel and window surround done tonight.
Put it back on with a bit of struggling, closed the door and it wouldn't open again. Gah!
After much fishing through the hole where the pull strap goes, I managed to juuust snag the lock with a finger.
Looks like I'd hit and moved the lock into "disengaged" and popped the lock rod off so the handle wouldn't open it.

Almost finished driver's side, need to make window frames and attached the panels properly still.
This eve I sealed up the vent and finished the carpeting around the rear hatch on that side.

This is how far I'd got up till last night :
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-a...9_193150-1.jpg
Today I popped over to Marlow and traded some parts (thanks again Marlow!)
Discovered a likely reason behind my central locking not working, this is how the inside of the driver's door solonoid looks :

Will come back to that when I'm doing the electrics.
Slider door panel needed to come off for carpeting, it had been reattached by a previous owner with 12 rivets, managed to snap a drill bit in the first one...
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-5...330_161111.jpg
.. but eventually got it off the door.
Then set about attaching the panels I'd already carpeted using the hidden screw method :

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-l...330_164706.jpg
and learnt a lesson... don't test to see if a screw head is hot with your thumb :

Next job was to make some window frames to tidy up the carpeting around the windows (need to decide what to do about the B pillars... carpet the plastic or remove and carpet the metal work + door surround + A pillar??) :

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-e...330_183818.jpg
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-0...330_183740.jpg
Used some off cuts for this as I want to keep enough to do part of the cabin's door cards
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-B...330_195608.jpg
Testing the size :

Finished carpeting the frame + slider door panel.

That half-window sized piece is to fit in the window which will be partially hidden by the units when they are installed.
Will make a frame for the window on the other side tomorrow.

Today I found a camper dismantlers about 20mins away, had a nosy round, def a place I'll be back to. 3 or 4 T4s, many many T25s and other campers.
Had black vinyl applied between the side windows, dropped the dual battery tray plans into a stainless steel custom place (pick it up Monday) and had an auto electrician run through some of the wiring with me.
You'll see a long blue wire in the pic, no fuse, perm 12v to rear wiper via the stalk! Put in a fuse + relay. Also found some "spare" going nowhere wires attached to the starter (assume a previous owner had a problem with the ignition) and fixed the stereo + aerial wiring.
This eve I took apart the driver's door lock and retumbled it to match my key, no more climbing across from the passenger side.

Did the other two wheels tonight
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-T...404_190840.jpg
Some goon almost welded the bolts on previously, presume it was the tyre place that fitted the new tyres before I bought it, had to break out "goliath" to get them off after I'd snapped a couple of things

Painted wheels make a huge difference on it.

No real updates since last week due to illness but today I picked up the dual battery tray I had made by a local Custom Stainless place.
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-B...408_174553.jpg
This will allow me to fit the leisure battery beside the starter battery(turned 90 degrees) which will keep the wire runs short, can mount the split charger behind them in there also. Need to extend some of the wires and move the ECU to fit it but it should work out OK.
It'll look something like this hopefully :
