They were freebies I picked up to fit to my T4 but the rail arrangement isn't suitable.

How different is the rail width ?

I've successfully fitted other seats using adapter plates.

They don't have traditional rails, its a sort of a tripod setup, like this :

Yeah I got a set of A3's to try, same rails as that. Too much bother, I have seen the fitted but ended up very tall.
We Have fitted Merc seats an removed all the rail frames which rise an lower and screwed the Vw rails to the bottom isin threaded inserts.
